Really nice hotel. Spacious rooms, good food, friendly staff, and many options of entertainment on site (cafe, movie theater, bowling alley). The offered an elaborate breakfast also. There were several things that could be improved. There was no elevator to the parking area, so you had to carry bags up a flight of stairs. I ordered the same meal from room service three days in a row and each time they gave me less bread, and I called down and asked for more bread, and they never brought it. Three-fourths of the breakfast staff was nice, cordial, and talkative, the other fourth looked at us like we didn't belong. We went to get coffee on the morning we were checking out and the doorman just about forced us to check out (and several other people) before we went out to the cafe. It was very awkward. On a brighter note, the front desk staff was helpful on several occasions. And the pool looked amazing, but the weather didn't permit us to be able to use it.

Amazing location next to train station! One of the nicer pools in Marrakech! Great little mini bar in room ! Great Bella Italian restaurant on site! ( I recommend the pizza) you can create your own as long as you can ask pizza maker in French !!!! Good steak sandwich from room service as well! And staff was very friendly!! Will be back soon! I have stayed at Opera Plaza many times with my groups. The hotel manager is hands-on all the time making sure all ok. Hotel has an excellent location, in front of Royal Theatre, and next door to the main train and bus station. hotel/ rooms; clean& comfortable, great food, lovely atmosphere Friendly and helpful staff ! Highly Recommended.

It was a clean hotel. Housekeeping came everyday and wore doing their jobs good. At the reception they wore helpful. I had breakfast included, but it was not that great. At the bowling place it was crowded with teenagers and the mechanism to set the pins was faulty. I loved the massage and the spa.

We wanted to have a real cultural experience for our first time in Morocco, so we booked nothing but Riad's every night. On the last night, however, we stayed at the Opera Plaza and it was perfect. They have a bowling alley, pool, gym, night club, massage parlors, and more. The place was a perfect switch from Riad's just before our flight back to California. The beds in our room was fabulously comfortable, and the best part, our room came with a complimentary all you can eat breakfast. If you are tired of Riad's or want a hotel that has a more Westernized feel then Opera Plaza is definitely your type of hotel.
