Wonderful place in Fes. Just outside the blue gate. Beautiful gardens. An oasis in the hustle and bustle of the city. Small entry fee. Might need to leave your rucksacks with the security. Museum houses interesting clothes, carpets and crockery mostly from the 18th and 19th centuries. Would need to set aside 2/3 hours for the visit.

Small but interesting museum. The signs provide little detail, and are in French and Arabic only. There's a lovely garden in the center. I spent about 45 minutes in a slow, methodical walk through.

Oh man, what happened to Fez. The culture and tradition is losing its place real quick. Its just become another commercial hangout place. Be careful in night at this place.

A fine collection, but the descriptions in French and Arabic are very basic, just mentioning the era and style. It is hard to appreciate what you are seeing here unless you already know a lot about the region's history. Nice building and grounds, though.
